At 1COACH, we believe that fitness is so much more than 6-pack abs and bulging muscles. Fitness is just one piece of your life so we emphasize an approach based on balance, moderation, and consistency. Moving well and feeling good means doing the most effective workouts in the limited time you have available. After all, we want you to be able to focus on being a Dad - and to us that means spending your time WITH your kids not spending hours at the gym.

DAVE PECKINPAUGH - FOUNDER & HEAD COACH
As a Dad of two kids (now teenagers), Dave understands how difficult it can be to stay on track with your fitness goals while also juggling the many priorities that come along with being a parent. His personal fitness goals have been centered on feeling good, moving well, and staying strong enough and fit enough to keep up with his active kids. Over the past 18+ years, Dave has used his knowledge of Exercise Science and creative energy to design his own short but effective workouts that can be done with minimal equipment in a small space.
He’s excited to help other Dads take advantage of these many years of experience and support them as they work towards their fitness goals - while also being an awesome Dad!

14+ years as a full-time or part-time faculty member in the Kinesiology Program at UMass Amherst
