As a Busy Dad, just one minute of action may be the key to hitting your fitness goals
Whether you’re a new dad or a longtime dad, it can be difficult to get started (or restarted) on your fitness journey.
* “I need to get more exercise equipment at home before I can start.”
* “I’ll get started once my schedule opens up and I can put in a full hour a few days per week.”
* “It’s been a long time since I exercised regularly so I’m not sure what workout is best for me now.”
So, how should you start?
For many busy dads, the best answer is to start where you are.
This quote from James Clear gives a great perspective on this:
“The first minute of action is worth more than a year of perfect planning.”
So set your timer for one minute, and just get started with the equipment you have now, in the time you have now, in the way that feels best right now.
Waiting for “perfect” is likely to keep you exactly where you are rather than get you closer to your goals.
It’s simple…but that doesn’t mean it’s easy.
You’re a Busy Fit Dad…You’ve got this!
